Considered the “Oscar of Japanese manga” Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Awards 2021 has witnessed the rise of the super product Kimetsu No Yaiba.
Named after legendary artist Osamu Tezuka, the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Awards is an annual manga award held to honor mangakas and their work. Appearing since 1997, the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Awards are likened to the “Oscar of Japanese manga”. Fujiko Fujio’s Doraemon, Naoki Urasawa’s Monster, Takehiko Inoue’s Vagabond, Tasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom are typical works that have received awards from the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Awards in previous years.
